Dora and Diego!

I was hired to do a birthday party featuring Dora and Diego. Being that I hadn't done these characters I thought its only logical to practice them. I'll be honest with you, this was not an easy project. The party isn't till the end of the month so I decided to post some pictures of my test run so you guys could post some comments. Take a look and tell me what you think. Thanks :-)

Eve's Sweet Touch @ Gigi's Pizzeria!!

Today was the first day Eve's Sweet Touch was @ Gigi's Pizzeria!! I am sooo excited!! Here are some pictures of the BabyCakes......

I wasn't crazy about the aluminum pan but that's all they had. Next time it will be allot more glamorous with Eve's Sweet Touch.

Eve's Sweet Touch will soon be at Gigi's Pizzeria!!

I am sooo excited to share with you the great news. Gigi's Pizzeria approached me and wanted to help me get the word out about my Sweet Treats. Obviously I didn't have to think twice. The first date will be January 21, 2011! If your familiar with the pizzeria feel free to pass by and pick one up. I will be posting pictures soon!!

I love baking all sorts of treats!

Linzer cookies are one of my specialties. These were filled with raspberry jam and they were amazing! My dad couldn't stop eating them, as you can see there weren't many left by the time I found my camera. hehehe

My grandpa's favorite dessert is apple pie, so when I started to learn to bake I had to ace the apple pie. Every time he comes NY I bake him a Golden Apple Pie with sweet apples and a touch of cinnamon. He sits in the kitchen watching the oven and the clock, I don't need a timer when hes around. hehehe My dad also loves my apple pie but with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. The men in my life don't joke when it comes to sweet treats.

Merry Christmas!

I love the holidays and wanted to make something extra special. The only thing that made sense was to make Red Velvet cupcakes with a hidden holiday Oreo inside topped off with Butter Cream and a fondant mitten. Mm mm mmm....these were to die for. I also made peanut butter cupcakes with a mini Reese's in the middle topped off with chocolate frosting. I loved seeing the kids eyes open when they bit into the cupcake and found a hidden treat inside :-)

Surprise 30th!!

This was one of my favorite projects. The cake and some of the cupcakes were a moist Red Velvet cake with Butter Cream filling/frosting. The other half of the cupcakes were cookies and cream with chocolate frosting. Oh and of course I had to put an Oreo cookie inside each cupcake. I just love hiding treats inside and watching people's eyes open when they bite into the middle and find a pleasant surprise :-)
